Pearls

Pearls are everywhere this season – on the heels of shoes, embroidered across jumpers and all over bags to name just a few! A detail which used to be regarded as old fashioned has completely and utterly come back into style and I’m really happy about it. I wear pearl earrings almost everyday and I think they’re a timeless and classy style to incorporate into your wardrobe. All these pieces are shoppable just click on the links to take you to the product!

Pearl Jeans

These pearl detail jeans are absolutely gorgeous and add something different to a very classic shape and style of jeans. The cluster of pearls scattered across these jeans adds a pretty edge and I particularly like the ones surrounding the front pockets; I think this creates a very nice effect. At £32 they are relatively cheap for such a detailed pair of jeans! I would pair them with a cream knitted jumper (£28), I chose this one because it just looks so comfy, to compliment the pale shade of the pearls and cream ankle boots (£29).

Pearl Skirt

This gorgeous double breasted skirt (£30) with pearl buttons is definitely on my wishlist! It’s so classy and smart so would definitely fit into my wardrobe. Personally I’d pair it with a blouse (£32), possibly a pussybow blouse, black tights and black Chelsea boots (£28, such a bargain for such a lovely pair of boots!). This is a subtle nod to the pearl trend whilst remaining classy and stylish.

Other gorgeous pearl inspired pieces I’ve seen include these practical, yet chic, black pearl loafers (£22.99); these are perfect for everyday wear as they’re not too over the top and would go with most outfits. This style of high heel with a pearl studded heel seemed to be everywhere over the summer and it’s a style I looked into investing in time and time again; this black pair (£34.99) is a very classy and dressed up way of incorporating this trend into your wardrobe for occasion wear. Last but not least is this nude pink bag (only £15.99!) with pearl studs around the edge. It’s a very feminine and subtle way to wear the trend and I could definitely see myself wearing this!
