Why Beige Isn't Boring

1

I love beige. Like I love it. It’s such a versatile colour which is perfect for autumn when we turn more towards warmer tones such as brown, beige and red. Somehow, beige has become to be portrayed as a boring colour which washes people out and looks bland but I definitely beg to differ. I think it is a very classy, dignified colour which looks great when it’s worn right.

My favourite way to wear beige is through my coat; this gorgeous coat is actually from New Look’s winter range last year but you can find their updated version for this year here. It is a classic cut, which combined with the sophisticated colour, creates a very put together look.

Another very simple, less over powering, way of inserting beige into an outfit is through your shoes. These low block heels, which are rather openly Chanel inspired, add yet another classy edge to this autumnal outfit.

I’ve picked out some other gorgeous beige pieces so that you can add beige into your autumn wardrobe. This wide arm jumper looks perfect for snuggling up in over the coming months and would look equally good with a skirt or with jeans and at only £12.99 who could resist? This woolen jumper dress looks perfect for the chilly days and would look stunning paired with over the knee boots. This leather look beige skirt adds a funkier edge to a classic colour and spices up the look a bit.
