Summer Wedding Guest Lookbook

When choosing an outfit for a wedding you need something that will look elegant, beautiful and classy and this gorgeous dress from Primark definitely accomplishes that. With its subtle colour scheme and delicate ruffles it not only looks elegant but is pretty and feminine as well.

I headed to Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses for a picturesque background to tie in with the floral theme of the dress and was not disappointed by the rainbow of flowers that I found there. I explored the tropical themed greenhouses looking at a plethora of different exotic plants before heading out into the outdoor gardens, ponds and fields. They actually do hold weddings here, can you imagine the photos!

I don’t usually go for maxi dresses, as at only 5’2 I feel like they swamp me, but this one is the perfect length. I’d definitely recommend this dress for petite girls as it just about grazes my ankle whilst elongating my body and giving off the illusion that I’m taller.

I paired the dress with pink, block heels, also from Primark. They’re a perfectly wearable height for walking around in all day and the cross straps across the front of the foot can be tightened to fit narrow feet.

This look could be worn with your hair up, showing off the detail on the back of the dress and top of the sleeves, or down for a freer, more whimsical look. I accessorised with my Pandora rose gold Princess Ring and little pearl earrings, both of which are very classy pieces to suit the theme of the outfit.
